Just Gotta Say by Laura Kaye (Review)

Title: Just Gotta Say
Series: Standalone
Author: Laura Kaye
Published: October 2014
Format: Ebook received for review

Callie Davis stumbles upon two of her three male roommates in a surprising, molten-hot midnight tryst and discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. Desire to play with them grips her, and she can’t stop fantasizing about having multiple men, particularly her three long-time best friends.

Callie is thrilled when a guys’ night out gives her the perfect opportunity to recreate her fantasy, with the help of a threesome porn video and a bag of sex toys. That is, until Lucas, Jack and Noah return early and catch her in the act. More than anything, the guys want to make her fantasy come true. But Callie has a secret, and she can’t help wondering if being with all three men will risk the future she’s always wanted with one of them.

As three strong sets of hands caress and undress her, Callie surrenders to desire, because sometimes you just gotta say…yes.

I've read several books from Laura Kaye now.  One thing I can definitely say about her writing is that it is consistently entertaining, intelligent, and sexy as hell.  Just Gotta Say might be a short read, but it definitely packs a punch.

This book was fun!!  Ok, first we have Callie who is probably the luckiest woman on the planet, because she rooms with THREE sexy men!  There's all kinds of sexual chemistry flying around, and it's a wonder they didn't all hook up before.  But one night of cancelled plans and Callie thinking she was going to be alone for a while changed everything. Can you even imagine being walked in while you are going to town with yourself?  I would die!  And not only that, but she was going all the way with it, no half assing it for Callie.

He cupped her neck, his grasp comforting and reassuring, and brushed his lips against her right cheekbone.  Her right eye.  Her forehead.  Tilting his head to the other side, he repeated the action against her left eye, the apple of her left cheek.  She gasped when his last kiss fell on that tender, hollow spot just below her ear.

"What do you want, Callie?  Whatever you want, we want.  Always."

So obviously, from the cover alone, you can see there is  a foursome going on.  And it is HOT.  There is mfm, mf, and mm.  Laura Kaye pulled it all off perfectly.  She even managed to put some emotion in there, and not make it just about sex.

In the end, what you find is that these four people are... well, they are awesome together.  Whether it be friends, roommates, or sexually, they belong.  Sure, some might belong more than others.... but you'll have to read to find out what I mean by that.  Just know that you are going to get a sexy and steamy menage story when you pick up Just Gotta Say! (But for the record, I'm totally Team Lucas!)
