He can seduce with a single glance.

Peering down at a sea of fans, rock star, Mitchell Davies can’t deny the innocent beauty of a woman in the front row. He’ll stop at nothing to get to know her. When a public altercation leaves her weak and defenseless, he takes the opportunity to be her savior.

She’s been sheltered from the world.

Alana Shelton wants to spread her wings and experience life away from her restrictive upbringing. But she isn’t prepared for a gorgeous stranger to sweep her off her feet while at her most vulnerable.

Attraction will bring them together, but their pasts will try to tear them apart.

He wants to teach her how to trust, but she’ll show him how to love. In a glamorous world of rock-and-roll, only time will tell if they’re up for the challenge.

Eden Summers is certainly proving that she is a force to be reckoned with in the writing world. I’ve just read Blind Attraction, and I loved it. From peeking at some other reviews and ratings, it would seem I am definitely not the only one.

Blind Attraction is the story of Mitch and Alana. The story starts, and they are strangers. Mitch is the lead guitarist in the band Reckless Beat, and Alana knows nothing about him. But her friend Kate has just won tickets to the show, so that’s where we begin. Mitch spots Alana in the crowd, and he can barely keep his eyes off of her – and she can barely keep her eyes off him.

A little bit of this, and a little bit of that – and a short while later they find themselves in each other’s company along with someone who is a bit, shall we say…disgruntled. One thing leads to another, and that leads Alana to being temporarily vision impaired – and Mitch is going to take care of her.

This shows me how caring Mitch is, which makes him so much more attractive as a person. He’s not some vacuous rock star, he’s a real live person. It’s that real live sensitive person inside that attracts Alana. And Alana, she’s not exactly worldly. In fact, these two are so opposite that the fates would have probably never put them in alignment with each other to meet in the first place.

The couple days these two have together are pretty wonderful. There are some heated moments, and some sensitive moments. They are both suffering internally with what is to come, which just makes me wish they could hear me when I yell at my kindle “Just tell him (or her!) what you think for Pete’s sake!!!”

There was some definite comedic relief in the book in the form of another guitar player for Reckless Beat, Blake. Blake is a scene stealer! I can’t even count how many ways I loved this man! He cracked some of the funniest jokes I’ve heard, he leant a hand or a shoulder when needed, and I just found him to be an all around perfect guy. And when he gets his opportunity for some heat – oh my goodness, it is superb! I am definitely going to keep my eye out for his book.

I really enjoyed this book. There were some very touching moments, and a lot of history behind why each of the two act the way they do. Eden Summers’ writing is really great. I’m two books in to her catalog now, and I can’t wait to read more.
