A fight he must win...

Jory will do anything to reunite with and save his brothers-even kidnap the gorgeous woman who's working to deactivate the deadly chip in their spines. But the forces determined to destroy his family won't let them go so easily. Keeping Piper alive is more than he bargained for-and so is his burning desire for her. But with every second bringing him closer to certain death, can he afford to lose himself in her hot and willing embrace?

Well, it is finally here!  Release day for Total Surrender!!  I had the honor of reading this book (actually, the entire series) and I was amazed by it.  Rebecca Zanetti has written one of my very favorite series and managed to keep me on the edge of my seat through every single book.

Pages: 214/Amazon

Road Captain of the Devil’s Dust Motorcycle Club, Bobby has the scars to prove just how dangerous his life is. He gives the world he knows hell and loves every moment of it. Wearing a panty-dropping grin along the way, his fierce life has never been a problem for him, until her. Jessica is the only female who has him distracted in his game. After taking him to bed, she’s the only woman to tell him to take a hike. Waking with her gone, he can’t resist her pull. He’s seen the marks on her body, ones which tell the horrors she’s lived through. He’s also seen the fear in her eyes when she lets herself become weak to his advances. Bobby has a decision to make. Can he help Jessica, or will it mean giving up his carefree life?

Jessica, also known as Doc, lives life in fear. Years back, she ran to the Devil’s Dust for protection, seeking the demise of her abusive, dominant husband. Her mind and soul tortured by her past, she can’t allow herself to move forward. The only thing in her sight is her daughter’s safety. Even if she has the attention of one particular tattooed biker, she can’t succumb to his charm and drag her daughter back into a world of danger, no matter how much he thinks he can save her.

Mistakes will be made.

Fears will be faced.

Pain will be remembered.

Can Bobby and Jessica survive the dangers they bring upon themselves?

This week I got the pleasure of reading The Fear That Divides Us by MN Forgy. This is book 3 in the series, but it's actually more like book 5 due to the in between books.  Either way, I really enjoyed it.

Pocketful of Sand by M Leighton (Review & Giveaway)

Title: Pocketful of Sand
Series: Standalone
Author: M Leighton
Published: March 15, 2015
Format: Ebook received for review
Pages: 318/Amazon

“She’s beauty for my ashes. And I’m hope for her heartache.”—Cole Danzer.

I don’t know what makes a great love story. Is it that instant attraction when boy meets girl? The passionate kisses and the fairy-tale ending? Or is it a lifetime of tragedy, paid in advance, for a few stolen moments of pure bliss? The pain and the suffering that, in the end, you can say are worth it for having found the missing piece of your soul?

The answer is: I don’t know. I don’t know what makes a great love story. I only know what makes my love story. I only know that finding Cole when I did, when Emmy and I were running from a nightmare, was the only thing that saved me. That saved us. He was more broken than I was, but somehow we took each other’s shattered pieces and made a whole. If thatis what makes a great love story, if that is what makes an epic romance, then mine…ours is the greatest of them all.

**Contains material that some may find disturbing. Not intended for readers under the age of 18**

Yesterday I posted a release launch post for Pocketful of Sand, and as promised, here is my review.  As a fan of M Leighton books, I have to say I was impressed with this book.  It was a bit of a deviation from the other books I've read, but I think she did a fabulous job.

Vandal by Carian Cole (Excerpt & Giveaway)

Vandal
Carian Cole

She takes my breath away; she is so beautifully damaged.
Yes I had broken her, ravished her life, destroyed her happiness. I brought her to ultimate despair. I was responsible for all the pain and suffering that now brought her to her knees in front of me.

Broken.
Hopeless.
Reckless in her agony.

She is a mirror of my own tortured soul.

But what I took away I can give back.
In ways she cannot even begin to imagine.

She is everything right in all my wrongs.

She loves me. She needs me.

She has no idea I’m the one who wrecked her life.

Happy Thursday!  Well, we are almost to the weekend, right?!  It will be here before you know it.  But today I have Vandal for you, book 2 in the Ashes and Embers series!  Don't forget to tell me what you think below in the comments!

You.

The Ruin Of The World by Nazarea Andrews (Cover Reveal)

When the zombies rose, we thought the world ended.

It didn’t—it just broke, in a way we couldn’t fix. And we found ways to continue, reasons to fight.

Faith. Family. Politics. Obsession. The most dangerous of all—hope.

But when all of that is stripped away, and nothing remains but rage and betrayal—that is the true end of the world.

Hey!  How do you like this cover?  I am digging it, it follows the rest of the covers in the series.  But I am super excited, because it means that the release date is close!!!  I've been reading this whole series, and for those that are post-apocalyptic horror and dystopian fans, this is definitely something you want to get on board with!  Check out the excerpt below and don't forget to let me know what you think in the comments!

The Other Brother Part 1 - Lauren Hawkeye and Tawny Stokes (Review)

Title: The Other Brother, Forbidden
Series: Part 1 of 3
Authors: Lauren Hawkeye & Tawny Stokes
Published: February 24, 2015 TL Books
Format: ebook received for review
Pages; 125 pages/Goodreads (99 pages/Amazon)

Simple. The consummate good girl, this is the word I used to describe my life... until my stepbrother Seth came to live with us. Until that point, I’d been a very good girl... but my older, emotionally blocked stepbrother made me want to do very bad things.

With him.

In the course of one night everything changed, and my simple world was torn to shreds. I wanted to hate him. I did hate him. Mostly.

But now he’s back. And nothing will ever be simple again.

The Other Brother is a novel told in three parts.

Back to my step sibling phase lately!  This subgenre really seems to be picking up a lot of speed, and people either love it or hate it, depending on the book.  In The Other Brother, the story took a whole new twist that I hadn't seen before.  That twist (which I'm not telling you!) was a bit frightening, but it really amped up the adrenalin of the story.

Stepbrother Billionaire by Colleen Masters (Review)

Title: Stepbrother Billionaire
Series: Standalone
Author: Colleen Masters
Published: December 2014. Hearts Collective Publishing
Format: Amazon Lend
Pages: 327/Goodreads

I’ve hated him since middle school.

The effortlessly popular, lacrosse superstar, beautiful, blue-eyed nightmare Emerson Sawyer. Funny thing is, he didn’t even know I existed until our senior year, when his mom started hooking up with my dad.

Now he torments me in the hallways, calling me “Sis” whenever he gets the chance, relishing in the fact that I can’t hide my blushing whenever he’s around. Even though I can’t stand him, my body betrays me—and he loves it.

Emerson and his mom just moved in with us, and as if crushing on him wasn’t weird enough, now our bedrooms share a wall.

The sexual tension keeps building between us, but I know nothing can ever happen…especially now that our parents are engaged. I try to tell myself that I hate him, that he’s wrong for me, that we’ll never be together…

So why did I agree to play Seven Minutes in Heaven at his girlfriend’s high school party?

And why does Emerson suddenly have my panties in his hands?

Huh.  You know, I'm all on board with the latest craze of step-romances.  I've read some really good ones.  However, Stepbrother Billionaire left me wanting.  I just didn't connect with this book.
