Girl On A Laptop

Title: Girl On A Laptop
Author: Russ Cooper
Format: Kindle

From Amazon:
A girl hiding under a brass bed with a laptop sends a desperate message to a stranger on New Year's Eve.

But is her plea for help real, or a drunken computer prank--and can young Phoebe afford to take the chance that there might be a madman on the loose?

I loved this book.  The story, the one liners, the scary factor - all aces in my book! This is a book that I can see turned into an awesome movie with some scenes added to build up to the point where the book actually starts. The scary scenes and the villain were definitely scary, and made me think of the classic horror villains like Michael Myers and Jason. And the witty and sarcastic lines are terrific.

It's New Year's Eve, and Phoebe is house-sitting for her sister.  She is drunk and passed out in front of the computer.  Then she hears the instant message alert.  It is a stranger asking for help.  She is hiding under a bed and there is a psycho killer in the house!!  Should Phoebe believe this person or consider it a joke?   I won't spoil it for you, but I definitely recommend this read!
