Hi and thanks to Fictional Candy for having me on the blog today. Today’s topic is about what I do after I finish a book.
This was a fun book to write, not so easy, but fun. Notice how I’ve just released the Author’s Cut of Enslaved In Shadows. I re-worked it. Kept some of the darker stuff and added a little bit more to the story.
Normally I read back to back Contemp Romance books after I finish my books. That Genre helps me to buckle down and get into the HEA of my next story. Not all of my stories have HEA’s btw.
But for this particular book, I took to the Sims 3. I love this game more than words can say. I don’t have all the expansion packs, but I’m working on it. I have about two or three more to go. F
I didn’t do much to “lighten” the mood, because as many of my readers know. Jes and Draven’s story hasn’t ended. It’s just beginning. Those two have a lot more fighting to do for one another before they can be together.
I actually have a Stone Household set up on the Sims… Jes and Draven are doing fine by the way. The live in a beautiful villa in the new City I just added. Draven is a mad scientist and Jes is a 5 star chef. Can’t get much better than that! But playing The Sims was actually very helpful in my mood.
I’m excited to get working on Burned In Shadows, especially as I know have to do a mass overhaul, chuck a bunch of papers and literally start from scratch, but that’s okay.

There is really not much to say... I love to write, read, and
listen to music. My attempt at a music career sadly ended at the Apollo one
warm night in May! LOL (Side note: I was not booed just outdone by two
munchkins rapping to Biggy Smalls but they were good!)

The very first time I put pen to paper in story fashion, was
in 6th grade. It was called The Case of the Missing Pepperoni.
It was a cute mystery where all the ingredients and shop
appliances came to life when the store owner closed up for the evening.
