Sinner's Steel by Sarah Castille (Review)

Title: Sinner's Steel
Series: Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club #3
Author: Sarah Castille
Released: October 6, 2015 St Martins Press
Format: EGalley
Pages: 352 per Goodreads

HE'S HELL ON WHEELS.
Tall, dark, and dangerously handsome, Zane "Tracker" Colter is the strong, silent type of tattooed muscle biker who drives women wild. But as a master of strategy for the outlaw MC club, Sinner's Tribe, he doesn't have time to play around with groupies and biker chicks-especially when he can't stop thinking about Evie, the girl who got away...

SHE'S PLAYING WITH FIRE.
Evie's been in love with Zane ever since they were children-until he broke her heart and disappeared. Now he's back in her life, bigger and badder than ever. Zane is stunned by how beautiful and confident Evie's become, using her artistic talent to customize motorcycles. He wants her so bad, he'd ride through fire to win her back. There's one problem: Evie is dating his deadliest rival-the leader of the Black Jacks-and if Evie and Zane hook up, there'll be hell to pay...

The Sinner's Tribe series is an excellent example of why I love motorcycle club romances so damn much.  Sarah Castille takes this group of outlaws that err on the side of good, and really peels back the layers so you get to know each member.  Sinner's Steel is Zane's book, and if you think Zane is cold (as his first impression often is!) then you are dead wrong.  And if you mess with him, you're just dead.

This book is a story of reunited lovers.  But so much has happened during the time they were apart, it's nearly like they are strangers again.  Zane and Evie may have stumbled back into each other's lives, but their hearts remember.  I love that about this couple, you really feel like they belong together.  The connection is good and strong, and not anything that years apart could lessen.

Zane, as we have seen from other books, is often a bit... um, standoffish.  He doesn't do relationships, he doesn't get close to anyone except his club brothers.  In the previous books you get a glimpse at him, and all you know is that a woman broke his heart so long ago. I love how he is so Alpha, and he doesn't let up once he resets his target on her.

Turns out that woman is Evie, and lo and behold, she is living and working in the same town.  Bad news is that she is dating Viper, President of the Jacks.  (As we learned in book one, Viper is a class A douche bag who doesn't really deserve to even breathe!) Evie doesn't see the bad side of Viper, and is afraid of Zane breaking her heart... and her son's.  Ok, single mom wins me again - I love Evie. I connect with her on that level, and on the level that I seriously want to jump Zane's bones LOL.

Sinner's Steel offers a ton of action.  Zane and Evie crank up the sexual tension to a level 15 out of 10.  There are still issues with outside clubs, namely the Jacks.  There is so much that happens in this book, a million reasons why this club is one of my favorites.  I also really love how family really plays a part in each book, in one form or another.  Sarah Castille is creating such a phenomenal world in Conundrum that I can't wait for each new book to come out.  If you haven't picked up this series yet, I am telling you - do it.  I've read a bunch of mc romances, and this series definitely rates at the top!

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Sarah Castille, writes contemporary erotic romance and romantic suspense featuring blazingly hot alpha males and the women who tame them. A recovering lawyer and caffeine addict, she worked and travelled abroad before trading in her briefcase and stilettos for a handful of magic beans and a home in shadow of the Rocky Mountains.
