I just read this book this week, and overall I found it to be pretty enjoyable. Not Until You by Roni Loren is book 3.5 in the Loving On The Edge series. If you look at the series numbers, you can see it's the compilation of a serial, I believe. And if you ask me, it shows in the reading.
Cela is a young woman, just finished college to become a veterinarian and she will going home to work in the family practice. But before she goes, she's going to have a wild night with TWO of her sexy neighbors, Pike and Foster. Yep, we are talking a HOT threesome. As for Cela, I liked her for the most part. I did find her a bit wishy-washy at times, but the overall arc of her character was likable.
Now the guys - holy geez, they are are something else. Pike is a drummer and he's tatted and laid back. I really liked Pike. In fact, I liked him more than Foster. Foster is more reserved, business suit sexy. And the man is a Dom. And as it turns out, Cela is a natural submissive.
This all carries the millionaire vs. virgin theme that's pretty popular in the romance world right now. But these two make it hot, and it works for them. The sex is incredible. Seriously, these two get it on like Donkey Kong!
The arc of the story moves pretty well. It actually covers a lot more of time than you'd think, and I like that. However, there were several points in the book where I felt like the story could have ended right there and I'd be satisfied. That's where the feel of a serial comes in.
So yeah, pretty good story, hot sex, likable characters. I've not read Roni Loren before, but based on this book, I'd give her another go-around.
Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has. Though she’ll forever be a New Orleans girl at heart, she now lives in Dallas with her husband and son.If she’s not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching reality television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars, er, rock concerts. Yeah, that's it. She is the National Bestselling Author of The Loving on the Edge series from Berkley Heat.Buy It!
