5 Things You Didn’t Know About Rose:
1.) Rose is always broke. Most of the time, she can’t pay the rent on her shitty studio apartment. She flirts shamelessly with her landlord, a greasy little dude who comes hollering for the rent when it’s late, trying to stave him off for another week.
2.) Rose lost her virginity to an angel while hunting in Jerusalem at seventeen. Their affair lasted for over three months—the longest romance that Rose had before Skriker.
3.) Rose’s favorite color is pink, though she won’t admit it to most folks.
4.) Rose’s secret guilty pleasure is watching daytime soaps. And she sometimes cries during a particularly romantic moment.
5.) When Rose was very small, she told her mother, Psyche, that she wanted to be a mommy when she grew up. Rose doesn’t remember this, but I find it to be a very telling fact.

5 Things You Didn’t Know About Skriker:
1.) Our demonic bad boy may be dirty in the sack, but he’s a certified neat freak at home. After living homeless in a dry sewer tunnel or squatting in abandoned houses for two years as a kid, Skrike can’t stand filth—dust, dirt, and grime are the enemy. He keeps his cupboards crammed front to back with cleaners, polishes, bleach, sponges, and disinfecting sundries, and he would show you his top-of-the-line vacuum cleaner with the same pride that a lesser man would show you his prized sports car or the size of his cock.
2.) Skriker frequently pays his broke girlfriend’s rent. Rose just pretends that she knows nothing about the envelope of cash that magically appears in the building’s drop box with her apartment number on it, but she smirks privately just the same.
3.) When Skriker was four, he took a piss on the rose bushes at church…during the coffee and donut social hour.
4.) Skriker and his little brother, Rory, would play a game during church services, much to their mother Annie’s horror.
