Guest Post: Gabrielle Bisset, Author of Blood Prophecy

Blood Prophecy
Gabrielle Bisset

I am everything you fear. I am vampire.

As the two Sons chosen to decipher the Prophecy of Idolas, Ramiel and Thane journey to find the key to defeating the Archons. Together with Noele, a born vampire, they confront their fates as they fulfill their duty to their world. Along the way, they'll find love, but death and betrayal lurk in the shadows, threatening everything dear to them.

Descended from the gods and warriors all, each Son's loyalty will be tested. Every action has consequences, and the choices they make now seal their fates. Alliances as old as the vampire world itself are reforged, and the Sons' duty is clear. Stop the Archons. Or die trying.

Thanks for having me back here at Fictional Candy, Liz! I'm touring the blogs talking about my Sons of Navarus series as I get ready for the release of Blood Prophecy, the 4th book in the series coming out this spring.

The Sons of Navarus series has a hero for every reader. There's Vasilije, the sensual, dangerous one and Saint, the brooding hero. Then there's Terek, the mystical and spiritual hero. Now with the upcoming release of Blood Prophecy, two new Sons take their turns as hero: Ramiel, the violent, dark hero and Thane, the honorable hero. Today I want to talk a little about the second Son charged with solving the Prophecy of Idolas, Thane.

An English nobleman before he was turned in Tudor England, he's what Sasa calls "a gentle giant." Quiet and kind, he stands almost as tall as his fellow Son in charge of the prophecy, Ramiel, and almost as big, but where Ramiel is violent, Thane is manners and kindness.

For fans of the series, Thane is also the Son who's fallen in love with Sasa. Their short story, Longing, gives readers a small taste of how much he cares for her, but he knows the chances they'll ever be together are slim because she loves Vasilije. That doesn't mean that he doesn't hope, though.

His part in Blood Prophecy is just as important as Ramiel's, whose book it technically is, because they both share the responsibility of solving the prophecy. For fans of Thane's, they should expect to see a lot of him in this book.
