I interview a lot of authors, we all do. And it is really a lot of fun, right? But who is it behind those interviews? You!!! So now I want to interview you! This post will run every Thursday (give or take a day due to scheduling)! Check out the tab up there in my tab index for this feature. That's where you can check out past interviews and upcoming interviews!
Today I am very lucky to have Nat from Reading Romances!!! And for the giveaway I have an audiobook of Infamous by Sherrilyn Kenyon!
Remember, giveaway is International and ends on 1-27-13!
I'll throw in some extra swag too, I just didn't put it in the picture!

Thanks for having me here today, Liz!
For the readers who might not have heard of Reading
Romances, can you tell them a bit about your site?
Sure! Reading Romances is a blog that I run all by myself
where I can share my love of romance novels to other people like me! I'm always
hosting events, giveaway hops, interviews, guest posts, author chats and book
club meetings. What's unique about Reading Romances is that since I'm the only
person behind it, everything I feature on the blog is filtered by my taste in
romance. I try to keep my readers up to date with new books and authors they
might not know! All the material I present is either something I'd like to read
or by an author that I admire, I believe readers that relate to my preferences
and have a chance to discover a new favorite book or author, or even try a new
genre that will become their cup of tea. The blog will complete it's 2nd
year on March 29th!
You are also hosting a reading challenge for 2013, The
Reading Romances Challenge. What is that
about and how can we join?
Oh, you have just mentioned my favorite feature! This
reading challenge is open all year long, anyone can join during the year. It's
my second year hosting it. I have created it with the intent to encourage
readers to open their minds (and hearts) to new books outside their usual
preferences and choices. The goal this year is to read several classic romance
plot lines and themes, without prejudice! You can read all about it here:
When this interview goes “live” you will be nearing the end of a giveaway hop that you are hosting! Having hosted a hop before, I know it is a crazy time! What is the Happy Endings giveaway hop about, and where can we see all the sites on the hop?
The Happy Endings giveaway hop is my first hop of the year. Bloggers, authors and publishers are not only invited to join with a “happy ever after” romance book to give away, but also share a happy ending story that has happened to them! It's going to be interesting to read those stories. There's still time to hop around and enter to win some cool prizes! You have until the 26th!
I see on your site you have an
actual weekly schedule that you use for your posts. Does this work out well for you? I’m totally
amazed, myself!!
I try to, but I've been so
overwhelmed that I haven't been able to follow it! I wish I could be one of
those highly organized people who have their posts scheduled with a month of
advance. Unfortunately that's not me, but I do my best!
What would you be doing right now
if you weren’t blogging?
I'd probably be reading more. I
miss the early days of blogging when I had plenty of time to read and no
deadlines to review them. Now I have so many things to work on Reading Romances
that I can't afford to blog less and read more...
So obviously, you like reading
romances. Do you have any other genres
that you like to read?
Of course I do! I love fantasy and
sci-fi, I'm a bit of a geek to be honest. Post apocalyptic and dystopian are
also genres that I'm very curious about, I need some good recommendations
though. (anyone out there have any suggestions??)
If you were a superhero, what
would your name and your power be?
Gee...I'm terrible with names! My
power would be definitely something like to be invisible or fly. Can I have
both? Of course you can!! I would love to do the same things lol
I’ve just given you a book and you
hated it. What do you do?
I get really mad for a few hours,
maybe days, and every time I think about that book I'll have the urge to throw
it against a wall. It's extremely difficult for that to happen, but I've hated
a couple of books before.
Right now I'm reading The Hobbit.
I like it more than Lord of the Rings so far! I'm taking a break from romance
to have the chance to read books that are on my TBR pile for a while.
And lastly, do you have anything
special planned for Reading Romances in the upcoming months?
So many things! I have Reading
Romances' 2nd Blogiversary Party planned for March, it's gonna be a
blast! You can read all about it here: http://reading-romances.com/rsvp . Plus, I'll be hosting several hops and special weekly
events during the year – stay tuned! Stop by, leave a comment and be a part of
the Reading Romances community!
My pleasure =)
