New Year Blog Hop 2012

Happy New Year!!!!

When I think about the holiday season, I get excited.  Now that I have a daughter of my own, the holidays take on a whole new meaning.  I mean, sure, that year my entire family received acid washed denim outfits (head to toe, all of 4 us) from my grandmother was a real doozie (and NO, there are no pictures!).  But nothing beats the joy in a child's eyes when she sees that indeed, Santa did not forget about her.  My daughter has been very lucky to have so many people that love and adore her.  This Christmas she is 3 and a half, and she got a brand new play kitchen, and a leap pad.  And I tell you what, as a single mom, those toys have really saved my sanity already! Of course, who knows now when I will ever get to stop eating pretend plastic food!  Who could ask for more?
