Well, here we are. My third Horny Devil review this weekend. How fun its been for me!!! The weekend ends with Cameron, Part Two of The Pit Series.

I have been anxiously waiting to read this. It wasn’t too long ago that I read part one, and I instantly fell for Cameron. The man has got IT goin’ on. Edward Tailor has created this character that is so… so manly, that I know you will love him every bit as much as I do. He’s not just a Dom, but The Dom.

So for those catching up, Tilly was living life a bit down on her luck. Ok, a lot down. A crazy set of circumstances brought her to Cameron, and at the end of part one we find the two of them have some insane chemistry. Part two continues right where part one leaves off, so all in all, this whole story only takes place over a few days. And this time around, Tilly isn’t quite done stirring up trouble.

“Good girl, little one, “ he praised softly.

And just like that, Cameron has my attention. The man is a commitment-phobe. Heck, he is love-avoidant. But at the same time he knows that there has to be someone, and Tilly just might be that someone. Her instinctive dedication to his happiness humbles him, and makes him very proud. I know he’s fallen in love with her that quickly. And as for me, the reader, I dare not blink.

This story is h-o-t. If there were a word sexier than mother-effin’ hot, I would use that, but I don’t know of one offhand. But not only is it hot, it’s got some great action and some danger, which is like my yummy trinity of a winning story.

You definitely need to read these two stories in order, but they are both relatively short. And trust me, you will burn through them like a gasoline soaked whip. And then you will beg for more.

A quick review of comments on Goodreads, and I’m very excited to get into this story. Plus I’ve not read a book from Horny Devil Publishing that I didn’t like! The crew over there seems to have a great selection of books to choose from, and I’m loving it!

This story is about Deeta. Deeta considers herself plus size, but is really more just voluptuous. And she is ready to explore a more submissive side to herself. She decides that online is as good of a place as any, and she joins a website that caters to the D/s lifestyle. I really loved this aspect, mixing the technology into the BDSM world. It also really added a certain mystery to it all that played out perfectly.

Master R is one of the Doms who takes notice of her, and it doesn’t take long for them to build a rapport in private chat sessions. R is definitely a “take charge” kind of man. Even online and behind pixels he evokes power and sensuality. No brainer that I’m totally in love with him immediately!

And then the story breaks off, one section in the past when they are speaking online and one section in the present when they are to meet. And then back and forth a bit. I really loved how this was done, giving you history and present all at the same time.

I won’t give away any more secrets, the book itself is roughly 50 pages. However, I can tell you that I found it extremely hot and erotic, pure perfection in those 50 pages. Deeta is a woman teetering on the edge of discovering a new facet to herself, and R is the man at the reigns. And when the two meet, it is nothing less than spectacular.

And after a craptastic day, she gets two shots of tequila – one for her and one for the sexy stuff across the room. Bold and brazen don’t even begin to describe Leanne, and I love her immediately.

Cameron is that sexy stud, and today is his very lucky day. The minx with fiery red hair makes her way over with a very indecent and scintillating proposal. Who is he to say no?

They have an encounter that is strip the paint of the walls hot, and it left me breathless. I loved it. It was sexy and dangerous, and I’m eager for more.

But then Leanne’s father hires a security body guard to watch over her through the divorce, and who should walk through the door but good ol’ Cameron?! Even better, the security plan involves him posing as her boyfriend!

He looked at her in disbelief, “You think I don’t want you? Red, that couldn’t be further from the truth. I want you so much I have to keep some distance so I can form a coherent though. If I let my mind wander, I go back to our first night together. I can’t focus. Does this look like I don’t want you?”

So when she happens upon Dr. Joel while on a consulting case at work in the hospital, things change. She senses in him a submissive side that sets her on fire. And she ain’t the only one. It was exciting to see their first couple interactions together, to watch how she realized he could be the one she has been looking for. He certainly seems to fit the part of “dreamboat” well.

While the story was quite interesting, there is quite a bit about Mia and her past, and how it affects her now. It includes a lot of introspection on that from her. It was a slow start for me, but when it heated up – it really heated up fast and hard. That’s what really made the story a good read for me.

I’m not a big fan of the topping woman stories in general, but Kassandra Cox wrote this well. The story of Mia’s history ended up serving her well, because I felt like I really knew her and wasn’t getting just an erotica story. In fact, I’d estimate that the sex only makes up about a quarter of this story.

Once again, the folks at Horny Devil Publishing have a great story on their hands. If you are into Domme stories with more than just a couple hot scenes, I think you might like this story. It was a first for me, and I’m sure I will be on the lookout to read more.

We start with meeting Cameron. The man exudes sex and power, a very enticing combination. Good thing he is a co-owner at The Pit and can indulge in his decadent and delicious endeavors. Oh yes ladies, Cameron is a Dom. He’s not just any Dom, he’s been dubbed the “Prince of Pain”. But lately our dear Cameron is in a slump, and he can’t find that perfect sub.

Of course I love Cameron. Who wouldn’t?? In fact, one character sees him and is so taken aback by hist hotness that she can only exclaim, “holy fuck!” when she sees him. Oh, and then she refers to him as a man-god. I have to say, after reading this story I certainly agree. But who said those things? Well, Tilly of course.

Tilly has fallen on some hard times, but she won’t go down without a fight. This girl has a bit more fight left in her. And that is exactly what drew me to her as a character. You get to know her, you know she is hanging on by a thread – but she is hanging on. I love a tough woman character, one that will fight until the very end. But Tilly’s end isn’t exactly as near as she thinks it is.

When these two meet up it is explosive to say the least. And I mean that in so many ways, it is not even funny! Once you read the story, you will certainly understand. This story was very hot and super exciting. The author certainly has a way with words, describing Tilly as a “champagne eyed” beauty, and giving her the nickname of “little one” from Cameron. There is nothing I love more than an instant white-hot-can’t-fight-it attraction. I can’t wait to read more of the series (and its definitely getting a 5 star rating from me, so keep an eye out!)
