Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students and trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn’t important. She can’t let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing…
Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth, not a teenage boy. Or a young teacher, for that matter, though he tries to. And yet…there is something about him that draws Easton in—a hint of vulnerability, a flash of attraction, a spark that might burn.
Wanting him is taboo. Needing him is undeniable. And his long-awaited touch will weaken Easton’s resolve—and reveal what should stay hidden…
Penelope Douglas does it again. Misconduct was a fabulous mix of so many things that I love. If you want a story a bit taboo, a bit naughty, and packed with emotion, Douglas delivers.
So Easton is a teacher. She's young, beautiful, and a strong woman. Outside of school she meets a powerful man, Tyler. Sparks fly, enough to power a small city. Then they separate, never to see each other again. Except they do. Hello, school. Hello, naughty teacher fantasies. Hello, so many wonderful things. Age gaps, forbidden relationships, familial issues, romance abound, and two Alpha characters who can't seem to get enough of each other even though they should stay apart.
Penelope Douglas wrote this story perfectly. Seriously, I loved every minute. Douglas' world building is phenomenal, and the development of her characters is out of this world. I easily felt like I was there on every single page, and the best part was I didn't want to be anywhere else.
I can't get enough of her stories. I can't recommend this book enough! It's hot, romantic, and emotional - and that's just the tip of the iceberg!
Penelope Douglas was born in Dubuque, Iowa and has a Masters of Science in Education from Loyola University in New Orleans. She lives with her family in Las Vegas.Previous Posts on Fictional CandyBuy It!
