His patience has run out and he’s going to do anything to get Elle to realize he’s the man she’s been craving— even going behind the club’s back to help her solve a case she shouldn’t be working.

I love the Forsaken MC! I know I have said it before haha. JC Emery really has developed a terrific series here, with characters that I really care about. I think that is quite an accomplishment, to create something that the readers (and definitely not just me!) connect with.
Crave is really short. It's just a glimpse into the mc life. Specifically that of Elle, who works as a bounty hunter. Elle is also the ex of Grady, who has since moved on to Holly (no chance of that breaking up any time soon!) and so she is dealing with a bit of a broken heart. But even through that, she is able to see Diesel for who and what he was, and I love that she is open to giving him that opportunity to get into her heart. As for Elle herself, she is Native American. She's a tall and strong woman, and I absolutely love that she is not portrayed as a cute little pixie of a woman... or even a curvy woman. I love that Emery branches out women past these two stereo types that we mostly read about.
As for Diesel... well, he's a biker, for one. He's hot and sexy, and very protective of Elle. Everything just clicks for them, and I feel like they are a good match.
The storyline moves pretty quick, it's less than 80 pages. But in that 80 pages, you get a great big glimpse in Elle and what makes her tick. You get some shoot-out excitement. Oh, and there is some drawer-dropping heat!! Hahaha, I knew you'd like the sound of that. The whole book is great, and I'm glad I got the opportunity to read it. If you haven't gotten into this series yet, I am telling you to do it. Emery tackles some sensitive topics from time to time, and it only makes the series even more great.
