He never meant to hurt her.

Levi “Painter” Brooks was nothing before he joined the Reapers motorcycle club. The day he patched in, they became his brothers and his life. All they asked in return was a strong arm and unconditional loyalty—a loyalty that’s tested when he’s caught and sentenced to prison for a crime committed on their behalf.

Melanie Tucker may have had a rough start, but along the way she’s learned to fight for her future. She’s escaped from hell and started a new life, yet every night she dreams of a biker whose touch she can’t forget. It all started out so innocently—just a series of letters to a lonely man in prison. Friendly. Harmless. Safe.

Now Painter Brooks is coming home… and Melanie’s about to learn that there’s no room for innocence in the Reapers MC.

Oh Reapers Reapers... I love you guys!  This is definitely my favorite MC out there, and Joanna Wylde is an amazing author for bringing them to life, book after book.  Reaper's Fall is all about Painter and Melanie, and it's a definite ride!

Painter is someone I know we have all been wanting to read about since the first time he popped on the scene.  He does not disappoint!  A little time in prison toughens him a little, makes him more man than boy.  But surprises of surprises, Melanie was his penpal when he was in the big house.  For keeping him company via letters, I love her (which is good, because I didn't love her through the whole book!)

Of course I love Painter.  He's artistic, and thoughtful without seeming to be, he's caring and he knows what he wants.  He's ideal.  But then something happens (spoiler free zone!) and he ends up back in the slammer.

Well, these guys are often in and out.  It's part of the life.  And if you are going to be their woman, you need to know that.  But Melanie wasn't raised biker, she isn't used to the lifestyle.  So when he goes back, she is done.  DONE.  And yep, it pissed me right off.

See, when Painter comes out, he tries.  Hell almighty, the man tries.  He drags himself through hell.  And for what?  Gah!!!  Melanie makes me so mad!  I mean, I understand she has to do what she has to do, and since I can't really elaborate on that, it makes it difficult.  But for Pete's sake - love that sexy beast!!!!

Sigh.  Joanna Wylde does it again.  She drew me in. She excited me.  She made me read a book in record time.  Get on board with this series, you definitely will not regret it.
